The Bigosty shows
This is a circus musical show for the whole family, which brings the essence of the variety shows of the 40's and 50's, where the figure of the "showman" represented the multidisciplinarity of the artists of that time.
The comic improvisations permeate the dramaturgy, bringing a freshness to the show that revisits old circus numbers.
Equilibrium, sound bottles, giant hoops, ping pong balls ... all of that and more packed with the sound of an irreverent band!
The show is centered on Bigosty, a decaying showman who tries to carry on his work that seems to have no more space amid the big shows.
Since 2010, Esteban Hetsch has been researching the figure of the showmen of the 40's and 50's, as well as the musical repertoire of the shows of the same era. In 2011, he invited the musicians Diego Calasso and Nando Vicencio to continue this research. Thus arose this project, THE BIGOSTY SHOW'S.
